Use this for a new planting or production cycle. For an existing plantation, correct its cycle date or choose the established crop profile.
How the time was calculated
| Day | ET₀ | Kc | ETc | Rain |
|---|
Water depths in mm. Rain fills the root-zone bucket in date order; water above field capacity drains.
Use it like an app on your phone
iPhone / iPad: open in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Android: open in Chrome, Samsung Internet or Firefox. Use the browser menu to add to your Home screen or install if offered.
PC / Mac: open in a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari browser. No installation is required.
On phones and tablets, use the online HTTPS app for location permission. If an in-app browser blocks location or downloads, open the link directly in Safari or Chrome. Internet is needed for the map and automatic weather.
Assumptions & calculation limits
FAO-56 crop-coefficient planning calculator. ET₀ comes from Open-Meteo or your manual entry. Past weather values may be modeled, not measured on the field. Annual crop-stage durations are illustrative; mature citrus and coffee use simplified constant coefficients.
Assumes field capacity at the last full irrigation, rain infiltrates before daily ET, no runoff, no capillary rise, and constant active root depth. Where modeled water stress occurred, the refill depth is capped by available soil storage. Reported time does not include a separate salinity leaching requirement.
Results are estimates, not automatic valve commands. SoilGrids and weather-station triangulation are not connected.
